Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas
I especially love working with women and teen girls navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, stress, life transitions, and self-worth struggles. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, deeply caring people who are hard on themselves and longing to feel more grounded, confident, and at peace in their everyday lives.
My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale, feel understood without judgment, and begin creating lasting change — not just temporary coping.

I also have experience in parent coordination and mediation, which has strengthened my ability to navigate complex family dynamics, communication challenges, and emotionally charged situations with care and balance.
My approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and intentional. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel deeply understood, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I often work with women, moms, and caregivers in high-stress or demanding roles who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves.
I am a practicing Catholic and integrate Christian values into therapy when desired, but you do not have to share my faith to work with me. I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and welcoming for all backgrounds.
I’ve also done a lot of my own internal work over the years, so I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable and pursue healing for lasting change.

Many of the women I work with are balancing marriage, parenting, caregiving for aging parents, work responsibilities, changing family dynamics, grief, and seasons of transition that can leave them feeling emotionally stretched thin. They are often deeply caring people who have spent years prioritizing others and are longing for a space where they can slow down, process what they are carrying, and feel supported themselves.
My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and grounded. I believe meaningful healing happens in a space where clients feel comfortable enough to be honest, understood, and fully themselves without fear of judgment. I help clients navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, burnout, grief, and difficult life transitions while building healthier coping patterns and reconnecting with their own needs, values, and sense of peace.

I approach therapy from a Christian perspective, and my faith naturally influences the way I support and care for clients. I believe God cares deeply about our stories, our struggles, and the burdens we carry, and that healing often begins when we learn how to lay those burdens down and place them in God’s hands rather than carrying them alone. Faith and Christian values can be incorporated into the counseling process when meaningful to the client. My goal is to provide a warm, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time in my flower garden and appreciating the beauty of God’s creation, which reminds me often of the importance of slowing down, being present, and caring for ourselves with patience and grace.
I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward feeling more grounded, supported, and connected in your everyday life.

My background includes working with adolescents, women, families, foster and adoptive care, schools, crisis programs, and family court systems. I have advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, family stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions.
In addition to clinical work, I have provided supervision and consultation for therapists and school-based mental health teams. My approach is warm, relational, and practical — combining evidence-based therapy with compassionate support and Christian values when desired.
Much of my work has centered around helping clients navigate trauma, family stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife, mom, and practicing Catholic. My faith is an important part of my life and naturally influences the way I care for others, but I welcome and work with people of all faiths and backgrounds with respect and without judgment.

Who do you work with?
We work with girls and women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck. Many clients are students, educators, healthcare professionals, or mothers navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, or life transitions.
How long does therapy take to help?
Many clients notice improvement within 3–4 weekly sessions. Everyone’s journey is unique, and progress depends on your goals, challenges, and the techniques we use together.
Do I need to share your faith to attend therapy?
No. Therapy is faith-informed, meaning we can incorporate spirituality if it’s meaningful to you, but it’s entirely optional. All beliefs are respected, and sessions are tailored to your values and needs.
How do I get started?
We offer a free 15-minute consultation to learn about your needs, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit. If you decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first session and send paperwork electronically.
Can therapy help me even if I’m high-functioning and “have it all together”?
Absolutely. Therapy isn’t only for crisis moments. It’s also for high-functioning individuals who want support, reduce stress, manage perfectionism, or strengthen emotional resilience.
Q: How do I prepare for a session?
You don’t need to do anything special. Bring yourself, your openness, and any topics or questions you’d like to explore. Some clients like to jot down thoughts or situations in advance, but it’s not required.
Q: What if I’m not very talkative?
That’s completely okay! I like to ask questions if you don't know what to talk about. Therapy can include writing exercises, art, games, walk-and-talk sessions, guided meditations, or other approaches. We’ll find ways for you to express yourself comfortably while still making progress.
Q: What happens in a session?
Sessions are personalized and may include talk therapy, creative exercises, mindfulness strategies, or structured techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused approaches.
Q: Can therapy help with life transitions?
Yes! We support clients through high school, college, career shifts, relationship changes, grief, parenting, or other major life events. Therapy focuses on coping strategies, confidence, and resilience.
Q: Do you work with teens or young adults?
Yes. we enjoy helping adolescents and young adults navigate school challenges, social dynamics, and life transitions using approaches suited to their age and personality.
Q: Do you offer support for parents of adopted children or those navigating foster care?
Yes. We I understand the unique challenges, emotions, and joys of this experience, and can provide guidance, support, and coping strategies.
